Riders start at intervals with the fastest through the course declared the winner.
It’s a test of both physical fitness and mental agility, requiring you to make quick decisions, adapt to changing terrains, and stay focused on your navigational skills. You have to choose the best route to visit a series of checkpoints in the shortest time possible. You also have to handle your bike on different terrains and cope with steep slopes.

Course lengths vary from approximately 6km to over 30km depending on the class contested, so there is a course suitable for every standard of rider. There are classes for males, females and pairs/groups, covering ages from 10 to over 70 years.
